Vacancy: Senior Project Manager, Christchurch

Are you an experienced project manager at the top of your game and ready for a new professional challenge?

We're always on the look-out for highly motivated, multi-talented individuals to help us meet growing client demand in a number of areas. Successful candidates will be able to take their careers to the next level working alongside other highly experienced professionals on a variety of consulting assignments.

You will have a track record of successful project delivery, ideally gained in client-facing environments in a range of different industries. You are quick on the uptake, versatile, approachable and action/detail oriented. You are able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and will be expected to assist with our business development efforts and enhance our reputation for outstanding performance.

Must Haves:

  • At least 7 years of Project Management experience.
  • At least 12 years of impressive career achievements behind you.
  • Exemplary communication skills, with particular emphasis on listening/consulting.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • An understanding of the difference between management and leadership and the ability to take either role as appropriate
  • An in-depth knowledge of Project Management disciplines and processes.
  • The ability to form close and ongoing relationships with clients and project stakeholders at all levels.
  • A good sense of humour and an engaging personality.

Highly Regarded:

  • Formal Project Management training and/or certifications.
  • Degrees and/or professional qualifications.
  • Extensive software development/implementation experience would be particularly useful at the present time.
  • Some professional experience outside of New Zealand.
  • Business or Management Consulting experience.
  • Experience of managing general business projects (as opposed to technology).
